Is the adidas Prime X Evo the squishiest shoe on the market?
Despite costing double the Adios Pro 4, the Prime X Evo came out behind it across nearly every metric in our STRYD comparison. The one exception: leg spring stiffness, where the Prime X Evo scored lower, pointing to a more cushioned, relaxed ride rather than a snappier one.
That actually tracks with its design brief. This is a shoe built for ultra distances up to 100km, not marathon-day speed like the Adios Pro 4.
More cushion doesn't always mean more performance, and this test is proof.
