See above. And before y’all say anything let me be clear: I’m not a Drake fan. I enjoy hip hop more than most genres. Yes, I listened to xyz and read the lyrics. No, this isn’t bait.

I listened to his entire discography over this weekend and I couldn’t help but realize that I had to force myself to listen to every. single. song. Every single track I found myself staring at the progress bar just hoping that they would be over soon. I could forgive the boring instrumentation and dull features that he wastes money on if his bars weren’t so cringeworthy. Half of his songs are fake-woke r/im14andthisisdeep esque whining fests about the most surface-level socioeconomic issues and the other half is him literally saying NOTHING. I challenge any Kendrick fan to provide any verse that doesn’t fall under those two categories. I would rather listen to new gen Yeat rap about taking percs in his tonka truck and getting his joystick sucked sideways than listen to Mr. Morale or GKMC again.
