My PBR ghost shirt was stolen by a pack of roaches and has been stuck in a portal in the land of lost things since.
Any generous souls out there have an XL or XXL they’d be willing to sell?
My wife and I are trying to cut down on expenses and one place a good bit of money goes monthly is car payments and insurance. I work from home, leave the house maybe twice a day and can do most things without having to get on the highway.
We currently have a 2020 Volvo S60 and a 2022 Honda CRV Touring, which my wife wants to keep the Volvo, so CRV is going. I’m looking for some sort of SUV or 4 door truck for under $5k that is known to be reliable and easy or cheap to repair. I live in the Southeastern US but not near a beach, so I imagine my risk of frame rust is lower. So far I’ve been looking at:
- Early model Toyota Sequoias
- Early model Honda Pilots
- Early 2000s Chevy Tahoes
- Early 2000s 4Runners
- Early 2000s Tundras
- Earlier Ford Explorers
- Mid 2000s Nissan Frontier and Titans
I’ve got an 8 year old with autism, so having a backseat, leather seats and child lock is important. Other things like general aesthetics, mpg, etc really aren’t on the radar since my usual commutes are so short.
I know a little more than the bare minimum about cars, so I’m hoping for some guidance in this very foreign world.
