Where do you meet your partner here?
I'm 28M, been single for a while and I'm looking to date or at least make friends. I just deleted all my dating apps since they were awful. I work remotely for the most part full time, my hobbies are gaming, game dev, horror, anime. I love to work out and take care my myself, hiking when it's nice and I have a cat. Where do you meet women and socialize if you're single here in Bloomington?
Looking for a new job here, any suggestions?
I've lived in Bloomington-Normal for a while and currently work in insurance. I have experience in phone and in-person customer service, some sales experience, and personal lines underwriting.
Does anyone know of any companies in Bloomington, Normal, or nearby that are actually hiring? I'm looking for something that pays at least $20/hour, and I'm open to roles outside of insurance as well.
It feels like a lot of companies have job postings up but aren't actively filling them, so I figured I'd ask the community. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Will a hair transplant for my receeding hairline increase my attractiveness if I'm a short guy?
I have a Norwood 2-2.5 and have been on finasteride and minoxidil for over a year now and it's made my hair thick and healthy, I get compliments on my hair often. I've been styling my hair forward so that you can't really see my receding hairline but ideally i would like to grow it out long and slick it back. I was wondering, because I'm pretty short as a guy (5'1) but I feel like I've got a decent physique, and a good face, clear skin, well groomed, jawline, I feel like the only thing really me holding me back is my height and receding hairline. So I wanted to ask people who got a hair transplant, how much has it changed your dating life after getting one? I'm wondering because as a short man, I feel like dating is pretty difficult overall, but maybe if I got a hair transplant to a mature Norwood 1 and styled it nicely, then that could potentially move me up a few points in attractiveness and give me a better chance in dating women. Has anyone who got a hair transplant noticed a difference in their dating life, or at least gotten noticeably more attention from women, or even more respect from people in general?
