The Township has changed the location of the Special Meeting to the Bloomington Center for Performing Arts (BCPA). Same date & time.
There is a Special City of Bloomington Township Meeting scheduled for Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 6 PM at the BCPA.
All registered voters of the City of Bloomington Township are invited to vote on adding the following non-binding questions to the November ballot:
Should the City of Bloomington repeal the added 1% grocery tax implemented by the Bloomington City Council to provide relief for families?
Should the United States federal government ban the transfer of weapons to any country that is a dictatorship, apartheid state, or major violator of human rights?
Shall the City of Bloomington implement a moratorium on the creation of any large-scale data centers?
The City of Bloomington Township is roughly contiguous with the City of Bloomington. A small portion of city residents are not township residents.
