Hey! A group of us (early 30yo) are looking for a campsite in Surrey / Kent-ish (basically anywhere <1.5hr drive from South London) for a weekend in September.

We’re looking for somewhere that’s more field camping / group weekend rather than a family campsite.

Must-haves:
- A big area where a group can camp together
Somewhere we don’t have to spend the whole weekend whispering 😅 (happy to be respectful, but would like a bit of freedom)
- Good hikes/walks nearby
- A decent pub (or two) within walking distance

Bonus points for:
- A river or lake where we could swim / kayak / paddleboard

Any recommendations from people who’ve stayed somewhere would be massively appreciated!
