TL;DR: I need a new bezel for my Vostok Neptune, I can get one from meranom but I would prefer a US seller for the sake of convenience. Highest I will pay (Shipping not included) is $25.

Was about tensioning my bezel spring the other day and when I tried to take it out I didn't secure it and it flew out. It's definitely in my room somewhere, but I couldn't find it after hours of searching. No biggie, I just made a new one from a spare guitar string and it worked fine.

The problem is, I was doing a lot of swimming the past couple of days, and I think the new spring rusted and broke, as the bezel fell off as I was walking to work. In hindsight I should have put some kind of silicone grease or oil on it. I didn't notice this until I had gotten to work, and by then I couldn't leave to go look for it. I couldn't find it on the way back, so I'm guessing it's pretty much lost forever.

Does anyone here in the US have one they are willing to sell to me?

Is the relatively low boiling temperature of water the only thing that prevents it from browning food/causing the maillard reaction, or does water somehow get in the way of browning chemically?

As Vostoks are often known for, the back of the watch has a separate back plate and threaded ring that significantly reduces wear on the gasket from friction and also contributes to the way the watches seal. What I'm wondering is if the wobbly crown has a similar system, as in the part that presses down on the o-ring is stationary and doesn't rotate while the crown is being screwed down, thereby reducing friction wear on the crown seal.

I'm asking this because I have a habit of winding my watch when I wake up and before I go to sleep and I'm wondering if I should stop doing this to extend the life of the o-ring.
