Stock up whilst you can!
Just bought a bunch spares from Vostok 24. Not only the prices went up for watches, but slowly creeping up for spares too.
Got a few spare movements (same price), few dials and hands.
Bezels have gone up to 24+.

I either got scammed by the gypsies or I made off like a bandit. Paid 35€ for this. Does it look legit? Found at a flea market in Budapest, Hungary. Really liked the dial and patina on the case (slightly orange, guessing bronze or brass?). Any help identifying model at all? Chat GPT said it looked like a legit Komandirskie
and all original (except strap). I’m looking to maybe service it when I get back in the states if it’s solid. Thoughts?
I'm a regular customer and I recently made a fairly large order and paid with cryptocurrency. It's now almost 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. Anyone else getting radio silence over there?
This is my first vostok and so for it’s been amazing. I also regulated it and I can’t ask for any more.
Other than a leather strap of course.
What kind of style/color would fit it.

Hello all!
Recently picked this up at my local thrift store, and I know absolutely nothing about this watch other than that it’s a Vostok, I think? Any help identifying it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hi, I normally use NATO strap with my Vostok Amphibia.
But sometimes I want to use a metal bracelet. The stock bracelet is not my style.
So I might just get the Genuine options Universal bracelet on Meranom.
Is anyone actually using this?

Hey reddit, first time watch buyer here, not exactly a hardcore enthusiast.
In search of my first real wristwatch, I grew split by 2 main choices:
\- The MTP-1314 from Casio (the correct option)
\- The Komandirskie K02, with the 24h dial (the fun option)
The latter is significantly more expensive (Im 17), it's entry-point mechanical (with all the innacuracy quirks inherent to it), it's a more "dated" look, and it's unconventional to read.
But it's got that personality. Im personally fond of that late-soviet aesthetic, I LOVE the idea of a 24h dial, and I feel like it would make a great conversation-starter.
The casio is rugged, you put it on, set it and forget about it. It matches virtually any of my outfits.
The split comes from the fact that I know Im not buying many watches. So do I go for the safe, correct option and risk settling in conventionality or do I buy the outlier with personality?
Remember, first time watch buyer. Though I am getting yall's love for this horology business.
PS.: My first post got nuked. Sorry for that!
Going for more of a beach vibe on this watch
What's the deal with these? Did they start off blue and fade a bit white, I've seen a handful for sale online but not many of them. Love the gradient from blue to white though
Looking for my first vostok. Quite liking the scuba dude but open to alternatives. Just wondering if there's real differences between the ones made in ussr and made in russia, in terms of build etc
Quite like the idea of the ussr ones just for the history but if it's gonna be worse I'll avoid. I know they're getting on so may not be as water tight as original and would like to be able to swim with it
Cheers
