My first vostoks.

These are the amphibias that I like a lot. Bought it from scuba dude store. Very happy they sent it so quickly. These are models 120812/120811

I also bought a komandirskie 81694G, but it's strap seems to be fitted in reverse and is not of good quality and I'm not a 100% convinced I like it but I'm thinking maybe I'll change the strap and like that model better? Also, it's a mechanical watch and I'm yet to get used to the idea of daily winding it.

Lastly, so glad I came across this community and sub reddit and very happy I discovered Vostok.

US citizen returning to India and struggling to find a CA who knows both India and US tax well

Should I give up and instead hire a good CPA in the US and CA in India and have them talk to each other while AI and Google search and reddit becomes the additional safety net since this is a complex situation

NYC - shops or services that I can give a few notes to and get sample back

Not looking for very expensive and time consuming appointments and sessions. I just want to describe the top, heart, base notes and want a small sample back quickly to allow me to experiment rapidly.

Planning a trip to Doha (tourism purpose) next week. Is it overall safe to visit and what do locals recommend as things to do

Same as the question. Been wanting to visit Doha for a while now. The plans got delayed because of the war situation but now that, at least in the news, I hear that the war is dying down or has subsided, I didn't want to wait any longer so I'm making a trip. I want opinions and inputs from locals on whether it's a good idea and also what are the core Qatari and Doha things that I should not miss?

What are these boils? Am I taking the right medication?

- 46 year old male.

- 5 feet, 9 inches

- South Asian

- 85 kg weight

- Diabetic but hba1c with medication (dapagliflozin plus metformin) and wegovy is 5.5. Also taking rosuvastatin 10 mg

- not sexually active for years

- Started feeling febrile 3 days ago and also had pimple like breakouts. Self medicated with salicylic acid patches and that seemed to calm the breakouts.

- However, went to a doctor for the fever and was prescribed Augmentin 625 (Amoxicillin plus clavulanate), Topical muciprocin, metronidazole 400 mg

- 3 days later, I don't see signs of the breakouts subsiding and beginning to see new breakouts.

Questions -

  1. What could this be?

  2. Is my doctor missing something and are my medications correct?

  3. I would've thought they would prescribe steroids. Am I mistaken

Linc Starline - used to be a pen back in the day. 30 years ago. Ball point. Stripes in the body. Used to buy it for Rs. 3.50. Is it still around? Very fond memories with that pen.
