Am I crazy or are the Sea Kraken diving bezels messed up?

Am I crazy or are the Sea Kraken diving bezels messed up?

All of the 30s on the diving bezels of these recent Sea Krakens are upside down relative to how they’re supposed to be on a diving bezel. You can see in the original Glycine 676 reference on the left that it’s oriented the correct way.

Either this is a really weird choice on the reissue or Glycine made a mistake.

[Glycine Airman] No. 1 Purist on a Bonklip ladder bracelet (+ EDC context)

Hey everyone, wanted to share a couple of shots of my Glycine Airman No. 1 Purist (36mm). I’ve been wearing it on a vintage-style Bonklip / ladder bracelet lately, and I think it’s a killer pairing for this piece.

The Airman’s aviation history already gives it plenty of character with the true 24-hour dial layout and the iconic bezel lock crown at 4 o'clock. Throwing it on a ladder bracelet gives it a very direct mid-century RAF pilot vibe, fitting right into that classic military tool-watch aesthetic.

Included a side-profile shot to show how seamlessly the strap wraps back on itself. Being able to clip the clasp directly into any link turns the extra tail into a tight, neat little nugget that's honestly an incredible fidget toy when the watch is off the wrist.

What are your thoughts on pairing vintage-inspired tool watches with Bonklip or ladder-style bracelets? Does this work for you, or do you prefer standard modern steel links or leather straps?

Almost there

Finally got the strapcode bracelet for my GL0522, just need to get it sized. I have a set of small screwdrivers at home, but I worry about scratching the links if I try to do it myself. Otherwise, this is what it looks like on a bracelet! Looks complete finally!

Combat Sub 39 - GL0402 where to sell?

Looking to sell my Combat Sub 39 - GL0402, where is the best place to do so?

I nicely brushed the polish links on the band. Has a rubber strap, box and all the papers. Only one single blemish and it’s in the bezel. Excellent condition otherwise.

I got a Tudor and told the wife I’d sell this one….she doesn’t know the difference in costs haha.

First Glycine - Proper Watch - Combat Field Beige

My GL0564 Beige Glycine Combat Field Watch finally arrived (although only took 2 days, just eager) and been enjoying it as my first true Swiss made watch. Not had it long enough for a serious review, as if I have the right background for a review LOL, but very satisfied and happy with the purchased. Good size, weight, dial and hands let read without my glasses, and the Lume, although not crazy, lasted all night. The tactile feel of the watch and the sound, when put to my ears, of the movement feels great. It is also my first push/pull crown on a higher end watch, all my other good watches are screw down, feels weird, as if i need to make sure it is tight. Either way, happy with Glycine and look forward to a long time together without the itch of buying something else, although I do plan on a CWC next year.

Glycine Locking Bezel Warranty Claim Denied

I’ve had this watch for about 6 months and it’s my work week daily. Unfortunately, the locking bezel has stopped locking. When reaching out to Glycine, they mentioned filling out a warranty claim and sending the watch in to the U.S. repair facility.

The facility reached out saying it would be $200 to replace and Glycine HQ responded saying “Unfortunately, the warranty only covers internal issues with the watch. It does not cover accidental damage, cosmetic wear, or damage to external components.”

Very unfortunate as I really like this watch.

Has anyone else seen similar issues to the locking bezel and/or the warranty process?

My first glycine

My brother swapped out the steel band for this NATO inspired one, and we thought the flag looked cool as well.
