I’ve been in love with the look of the pilot day date for a while now, I was planning on getting one in ‘28 when my budget allows, but now I’m wondering if it might end up looking too big since I’ve been down the field watch rabbit hole and realized that’s the style I’m most enamored with. I have a 6.5in wrist, so factor that in. I’ll accept any and all input here, even if it’s just, ‘you gotta try them both on and go with your gut.’
P.S. do any of you have the islander Mitchel Day-T? I’ve considered getting that sooner, in which case I’d still end up getting the pilot DD. The islander looks so much like the field king that if I get it, I feel like that would solve the issue

Looking to buy my first entry level luxury field watch, would love some input, especially if any of you have had both

Found last night, been looking for an affordable aviation style watch. This comes in way lower than I was expecting to pay for a titanium. I like the look, type B flieger and it has VH31 sweeping second hand. Read the Amazon reviews but wondering if anyone here has it, and if so would you recommend it? Thanks in advance.
