I know this is an extremely difficult task to do, but I have seen some crazy identifications on this app and thought I’d try. He is on the right and this was taken in the Second World War. (1939-1945 era)

Hi guys, so basically my grandpa who died a while ago has this watch , I can't find it online anywhere and Gemini is supposedly saying it's a tag hauer which it obviously isn't, any help to identify what watch it may be, help is very much appreciated I would love to buy this watch in his memory, any more details would be given if needed. So there is a shop in my hometown that sells antiques and old watches. This speedy caught my eye, it appears to be the smaller version. One of the owners is also an horologist.
He said he only sells watches that work.

My dad found this in an old drawer of his. I asked Claude, which seems to think that, based on the serial number, it’s an authentic Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 (I misread. It’s a mystery.) from the 1970s but I don’t know. I’ve never seen an Omega like this before. The lack of family name, the date position and the quartz movement… it’s all throwing me off.
Edit: he replaced the strap btw, hence the “China”
I asked how to clean this crown on another sub and they say it is made of bronze. But when i checked on the internet it says it is 18k rose gold.
It is a Bulgari Bulgari DLC Qatar edition ref 103556.

I’m very aware that the back is not original and that the battery is Japanese because I bought the watch from Japan. I’m trying to find the exact reference number yet. I’m struggling very much. ChatGPT is no help. when I purchased it, It did come with no reference number and apparently usually it’s on the case back but of course Mines unoriginal so there’s no help there. anyone can help that would be really nice Nice thank you very much!

It’s a beauty and in incredible condition for a watch from 1935 or earlier. The photos do t show the very shiny blueing on the hands. Any thoughts welcome.
