I’ve ran a Duro on a Bond single pass for years now and recently learned it has a baby brother. Does anyone in here have experience with the baby Duro? If you do, what aftermarket straps are good for the 16mm lugs?
I just purchased this Fremont 40 and it has a realy nice quick adjust that dosent need a tool or anything but I have a realy tiny wrist and there is a lot of excess band that makes the watch uncomfortable to wear so im wanting to know if I can remove some links or if I should just bite the bullet and get a new strap

We often get asked which leather to choose for a vintage-style strap. Leather texture is something we consider when making suggestions, but both grained and smooth leather can work.
These two straps were made for clients in Vintage Gold Minerva Box and Black Barenia—two of our favourites for that style.
With the Minerva Box, the pronounced grain and warm golden-brown colour give it that vintage character. The Black Barenia has a smoother surface and subtle sheen, giving it a quieter, more understated feel.
That’s why I tend to consider texture alongside colour and the watch itself, rather than looking for one particular grain.
So I got a new glycine and it ended up having a bigger lug to lug than I expected, 22 not 20, and I have a jubilee that I think would look amazing on it. How much of a faux pas would it be to just put the jubilee on the 22mm spring bars? Have any of you ever done this, at least temporarily?
