Which Colour Alpinist to get?

After some research, it transpires that the sharktooth alpinist is the closest by dial colour to the original. To take it further, the green baby alpinist is even closer by design.
So my question is, i do like the 121, but hate the cyclops.
Which current selling Alpinist is the most iconic and timeless to get, besides colour preference?
TIA

First outing for the royale

Was sat brand new on rubber for 6 months.
Finally decided on 22mm adapters, a Nato and i have a metal case on the way.
First wear and a permanent place on the rotation list.

Is it bad?

Is it bad that i only use my PRX when out for a function, smart casual events? I have many watches but the prx is the dressiest looking one out of them.
Anyone else?

[Graduation Watch for Son] Please help me and advice!

Am a watchaholic, and my son is graduating high school - wanna get him a watch with an engraving for him tokeep for a long time hopefuly. He is values fashion, but he is not a watch guy. Currently has a few casios and he loves his A168 on a bracelet. I dont think he will bother with automatics, so am thinking perhaps a good Solar, battery at a push. I want to gift him something brandy that is GADA and that would work for most of his engagements. He will be going to uni next. Id rather swiss or Seiko.

So far am thinking:

Tissot PRX quartz

Tissot PRC Solar

Hamilton Khaki quartz, dont like the poor WR at 50 though

Citizen Promaster Tough - at a push

Anything else?? Thanks

[SNJ025] Black or Silver metal shroud?

Each changes the total look of the watch. I prefer the silver as it scales the whole watch a bit but takes it away from the 80s roots. But then again, there is the SNJ033.
What do you all think?

[Vostok] Problem.. solved.

Follow up from my previous post last week, where i realised all my Vostoks havent made it into my rotation for a while and the guilt tripping for only using my swiss and japs, i have tailored a concrete rotation whereby ill use strictly use my Vistoks for my work - which happens to be shift patterns consisting of various block of days or nights.
Ill be rotating my auto vostoks as one per block, be it one day shift a week or 4 nights a week in a row.
As all my 7 Komandirskie are old/vintage i found them a place in my living room as a display pieces in a cabinet.

Anyone else doesn’t use their Vostoks?

I got a good collection of vintage, modern, and new Vostoks but i barely use them. Some how i rotate between my Swiss and japs all the time, i do take a vostok on a holiday every now and again. Not thinking of selling any and love them to bits but just can’t seem to use them as i should. Help!!

As for many, the stock rubber is too long.
Which Nato suits the best for this bad boi?
1,2, or 3?

Think i scored the deal of a century.
On my hunt on FB i stumbled across a low priced big watch cabinet, for £50.
Turned out to be a watch winder and the bloke moving house.
After some research and googling i went onto the Elie Bleu website which is a luxury french manufacturer, had to do a double take on the prices of these new - 10k euros!! All leg7t, documentation, 5 out of 6 slots working, programmable individually.
It’s now serving as a display cabinet. Tried winding my Seikos with it but really was no need.
£50!! Ecstatic!
Anyone got any of those? Feedback?
