Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue (secondhand)

Got it for around $406 with a full set:

- box

- warranty card

- manuals/papers

Honestly kinda crazy value for how premium this thing feels in person. The bracelet and dial completely changed my opinion once I saw it IRL.

First "proper" watch at 21 too… this one feels special.

Might be the start of a dangerous addiction 💀.

My tissot died

I went to change my battery and the shop keeper said he change 3 different new batteries and it was not working, he said its probably the movement. Has anyone gone through this? Its a gift from my dad and its out of warranty, how much will it cost to repair?

Do I go 34mm or 40mm? Really stuck — Tissot Ballade

My girlfriend got me this watch for our 6-year anniversary (she absolutely nailed the style), and I really love it.
She chose the 34mm quartz, which is what I’m currently wearing. When I showed a few people, some said it might be too small on my wrist, so now I’m second-guessing a bit.
I went back to the store to compare, but they only had a 40mm automatic (no 40mm quartz in stock). They said they can order the quartz in 40mm if I decide to exchange.
I’ve got about a 3 days to choose.

34mm quartz (current)
40mm automatic (for size comparison)
Would really appreciate honest opinions—does the 34mm look too small, or does it fit the classic style better?
Also open to general thoughts on proportion vs trend—I know smaller watches are coming back a bit.
Thanks in advance

The metal bracelet on the PRX feels uncomfortable

I’ve been using the seiko 5 sport as my daily for over a year now and I occasionally wear the PRX for office since a month. However I feel the metal bracelet isn’t that comfortable as seiko’s. It feels uncomfortable mostly towards the locking mechanism. I did remove all the plastic on the metal before I started using (never saw plastic wrap on such tiny metal parts of any bracelet before). I was thinking of changing it to the silicone strap because of this issue. Wanted to know if this is just me who has felt this? What’s the general opinion here? Thanks!

Tissot prx light green 35mm vs 40mm

Hola, I am unsure on which one to pick, I used to have a 40mm black but i lost it. Now that I am deciding about size I am so hesitant one which one to get. I would like to mention that the 35mm fits perfectly but i wouldn't have the chance to expand the wristband if needed. Please help

First “adult” watch

Been my daily driver for a few months now and I have been enjoying it. Looking to maybe go to the next level for tissot and get a “sportier” model like maybe a Seastar? Thoughts on my current watch and the Seastar would be appreciated. Thanks!

Finally got to use that divers extension

I just had surgery and I had to switch my watch to my right side (obvious reasons)

Until I remembered this watch had a forgotten feature lol.

Finally got my first PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue

Been wanting one of these for a while and finally picked up a used PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue 40mm locally.

Previous owner bought it in 2023 and it came with the box/cards/manuals. Definitely has some scratches from normal wear but honestly I still love how the ice blue dial looks in person.

Paid around $460 USD for it.

This is basically my first proper watch purchase so I’d love to hear what you guys think about it.

PRX Powermatic 80 Ice Blue check 😅

Picked this up used recently and after scrolling through this sub I’m starting to overthink everything lol.

Would appreciate some opinions from PRX owners before I lose my mind. Posted detailed photos of the dial, bracelet, clasp, and movement.

Thanks guys 🙏

Wanna get a 40mm prx but wonder if it’s too small for me

I am considering buying a 40mm prx.
I have a 20.5cm wrist (male). Wonder if it will look too small and not impressive on me.

What do you say?

Hey guys.

I really like this Tissot Prx, and want to get something similiar but I dont like the childish robot. Is there other Prx or similiar watched to this. Maybe Tissot should release this with a simple black dial.
