Blue PRX - My first Tissot

Loving this 35mm. Might be the best image ever taken of this watch? Sun’s hitting it with intent.

(Right wrist here cause came back from the jewelers for resizes and was double fisting watches)

Which strap looks better?

I have 2 40mm PRX models and I’m trying to thin the herd a bit. Which to keep? The 40mm quartz with the leather strap or the 40mm automatic with the metal bracelet. I will say that the leather looks very sharp, but it’s a royal pain in the ass to put on.

Happy 4th Weekend!

Keeping the party rolling with some skirt steak and the PRX Powermatic 80 to sit there and look sexy in the foreground.

How does it look on my wrist?

How does this 40mm look on my wrist? I didn't even want to try the 35mm version because it feels way too small and feminine for my taste. Should I stick with the 40mm or maybe go with 38mm titanium?

[Tissot Prx] first Watch

Tissot Prx

Question to all the watch people, I’m thinking of getting the prx as my first automatic Swiss made watch. I’ve heard a lot about it, like the style of it and do like the brand itself could see myself wearing couple of their pieces. That being said, how do people that own this watch like it?

Any tips a or recommendation, feel like this is me dipping my toes in the water a bit. I do have jeweler connect so certain watches and stuff becomes a bit more available to me. But some brands like Hamilton for example just don’t appeal to me aesthetically.

First tissot.... Thought I'd get something a bit different that made my inner child smile like an idiot.

Which gentleman?

32M I am about to purchase the Tissot gentleman 40mm, blue dial but came across these other 2 variants that caught my attention.

Anyone owning the green or ice light blue?

How do they look like in reality?

Seastar 1000 GMT Quartz

Repping the Tissot Seastar 1000 GMT quartz today. Loving it on this tropical green rubber, wasn't a massive fan of the Tissot steel bracelet at this price point but now I think I've solved the issue I had.

By default this gets a lot of wrist time as it's my work watch but could see this coming out outside of work now.

What you wearing today? What's your favourite Tissot?

First Tissot!

MoP PRX Powermatic 80, 35mm, 6 inch (15.25cm) wrist size.

Really thought hard between this versus the light blue dial and the missus liked the MoP better because of the shimmer. Love the watch, definitely an upgrade after years of smart watches.

Need some advice for a PRX

Hello all. I am looking to purchase my first PRX, but I’m having some trouble deciding between the chameleon and the rose gold. I think both pieces look great and will add some eccentricity to my collection, but I wanted to see what people’s experiences have been with these two. Also, which of these do you prefer?

Feeling very grateful. Stumbled across my first automatic far sooner than I had planned. Nothing crazy, but I’m absolutely in love with it!

I’ve really only gotten into watches this year and with the arrival of our son, I didn’t want to get swept up in the excitement of a new hobby/passion and spend a bunch of money just to scratch an itch. I’ve been patiently saving up while hunting for deals on Facebook marketplace and local antique stores and flea markets but I figured I was still several months away from actually pulling the trigger on anything Swiss or automatic. I had my eye on a few Hamilton Khakis, Seikos, and the PRX but obviously not the sort of stuff you come across every day in a $5 watch bin at a yard sale. On a whim I stopped in a local pawn shop yesterday and behind row after row of Invictas and Fossils, I saw this sitting in the back of the display case. I couldn’t believe it when I picked it up and it actually started ticking! It had been sitting on the shelf since March and they had it listed for $425 but offered 20% off for the holiday. I remembered reading some threads on here and r/watches about how eager pawn shops are to move stuff and how if something has been sitting for over a month or two, you can really get some deals. We went back and forth for a while and I ended up picking it up for $240 out the door! So excited! I always see threads about people finding a 90s submariner in a Goodwill for $6 so it feels awesome to have my own “I got a deal” story and a beautiful watch to boot! I woke up twice last night and picked it up off my nightstand just to hold it and appreciate it. Feels cheesy as hell typing all this out but I’m thrilled to bits and it’s nice to share. Thanks for all the inspiration and advice in the comments!
