Cyanotype Sunday Prints
Some prints I made today 😇
(trying to figure out the smudging/ghosting on the white borders of the bigger pieces - happily hearing your thoughts on what’s causing this)

Tips on getting the sheet to dry flat? Mine seem to always have some semblance of a curl 😞
Howdy! 👋🏼
Still muddling my way through learning all about this process and have a question 🙏🏼
I want to create a bit of a ‘layered composition’ where I use a negative for a background, some pressed flowers in the middle and another negative for the focal point.
I don’t want to have to compose the layered image on a computer and print a single negative, as I feel that would strip it of a level of charm, imperfection.
Am I right in thinking that the only way to achieve what I’m after is to essentially mask/shield the spots I want to put the next layer on, so that it doesn’t get exposed, then do the next layer, and so on?
Gosh I hope I’m making sense 😅
I made a silly lil cyanotype of one of my favourite lyrics. Experimenting with the medium so it’s not perfect, but still better than I expected 😅
