alr so what made me write this post is this, for context i had exactly 1000000hp and i won about like what 3-4 maps before this one in this match in a row, so even despite the multiplier not being that big only 2.5x i get one-shotted just for being not so great at tapping, i get it im bad at tapping and i am going to loose some maps because of it, but getting one-shotted like hello?? i propose the idea of max possible damage, so even if the damage you get is 1 mill like here you cannot fail the entire match in 1 map instantly, you can possibly only take for example 500k damage, not more, i have also heard an idea of multipliers being separate for each player and so if one player wins the map only he gets the multiplier buff, that also prevents one-shots because you wouldnt be able to get 1 mill damage without a multiplier and having multiplier against you means you already have lost some hp, and it would encourage players to actually win their first picks and pick some better maps at the beginning, also sounds pretty good imo

what do you think? maybe there are also other ideas to make the system better, i enjoy ranked play a ton but this not so much
