Scammed for $17k on eBay Live by "Vookum" — Absolute Radio Silence
Beware of the live stream hype. Spent $17,000 on luxury watches via eBay Live. The seller ("Vookum") repeatedly stated on stream that buyers have access to direct trade-ins, upgrades, and buy-backs through their external outlets.
Total lie. They took the cash and have completely ghosted all direct communication for over a month. Standard eBay messages get a automated/canned response that they can't help with external services. They use the platform to lure high-dollar buyers with false service promises, then lock the door. Working on credit card chargebacks and platform reporting now. Stay far away. It's not worth it.
*I received the watches purchased. Then was unable to contact anyone from vookum again.
I wanted to trade up before I totally lost respect for Vookum.
I never got the opportunity to be butt hurt by non existent services. They never acknowledge my business inquiries as a fan and returning buyer.
