MacOS - tiny text/widgets

I'd not heard of this until yesterday, it's nice to see a nice open source editor out there! I was able to figure out some basics pretty quickly, so I'm excited (I learned on a 'linear' editing setup w/decks and a controller, lol).

On macos though, it seems like something is off with the DPI setting. Throughout the OS things are legible (see screenshot - openshot is open and sitting over a browser window for comparison), but OpenShot's text and really, the size of everything feels a bit off, like it's maybe thinking it's on a much lower DPI screen. I see some adjustments for this in the OpenShot documentation, but it's all for the Windows version.

Also attaching display settings - not looking to change these as everything is correct for all other apps. This is a 16" M1 MBP running macos 26.5 ("tahoe"), FWIW.

Canonical list of supported devices that work local-only?

I have a small slop-heap of stuff that I'm trying to corral into HA. Some of it is good, some of it sucks, and I'm also addicted to smart bulbs because I can generally alter the color temperature on those.

I'm currently trying to pivot to buying new stuff, but I'm not having a whole lot of luck finding a list of things that work locally. I know they exist. I know that there's some stuff that kind of works locally, but requires some online account interaction for initial setup, some stuff that can be flashed to alternate local-only firmware, and some stuff that's just… evil.

Is there a good resource out there so I can just start fresh with fully-supported, fully-local devices?

I'm really lost here. We have a self-hosted UniFi server and I added a user just to test the process and I would like to now remove the user after verifying the process worked.

I don't see any options here to do that on the overview - the top right icon is just a logout option (for me, currently logged-in as the administrator), the "+" is for adding a user, and that's all I see here:

user list

When I click on any user I do get details on the user, but I'm still not seeing a "delete" option. What am I missing?? I am logged-in as the sole instance admin.
