Claimed to be Brandon Jerrard McWhorter using 404-790-4848. Agreed to buy my $6,000 truck, then mailed a $9,975 check and instructed me to deposit it, keep $6,000, and send the remaining $3,975 to the person supposedly transporting the truck to Texas. He only communicated by text, repeatedly asked if the check had cleared, changed the name of the person I was supposed to send the money to multiple times, and became angry when I said I was waiting for my bank to verify the check. The check used the name Dalhart Jersey Ranch Inc., but I contacted the real company and they confirmed someone copied their checks and that they were not buying my truck. DO NOT SEND MONEY TO THIS # — repeat offender, big scam!

Was left a message from Dave's cabinets in Medford Oregon. Called the number left on voicemail. Was told I won 2.5 million from publisher's clearing house and price Waterhouse coopers . I was told I had to pay the IRS $2185.32 for taxes and it could not be deducted from winnings. Said I had paperwork to do to release the cashiers check on Monday at 1:00pm. First he said the claim number was chr09 then said that he told me chr90 when I questioned him. He wanted my email address but I told him to mail the paperwork and I would fill it out and send it in . Insisted it was done now and said he would text it to me but first I had to text him my full name and address. I texted him first initial and a last name with the wrong address and city. I then looked up the phone number and was informed of what is a scam number. I had a feeling that it was shit. He called me back and said I had to give him my full name and I told him I was not going to because he's trying to scam me. I hung up on him and came to your site to report it. He called me back 5 times which I didn't answer and he left 2 texts requesting that I call him back which I don't think I will be doing that.

A person who called himself Mark Benjamin phoned me. I didn’t answer the first few times, so he left a voicemail. He said that I had been sent a letter stating tha I had won $5,500,000 from a Reader’s Digest sweepstakes. I received no letter. In the voicemail, he left a phone number:3153678380 and name: Mark Benjamin. He said he was calling from Oneida, NY. He said they were registered with: BBB, FTC, IRS and the Attorney General’s Office. He gave me a VERY IMPORTANT claim number: 052944. He said the money would be deposited in either the Bank of America, the Federal Reserve or Wells Fargo, but it was too late to accomplish that Friday, so he would call today.. I missed an earlier call today, but he just now left a voicemail wanting me to call him. I gave him no personal info and he didn’t ask for money, but said the IRS would take 1% of the money.
