I was thinking about cancelling the flight due to the middle east situation and was monitoring this subreddit on a daily base, since the official updates were almost non existant.

Flight was from ZRH-AUH-ICN and everything was fine.

The first flight was pretty full and the second had some empty seats. Transit in Abudhabi was fine and everything seemed as normal.

I had a second backup flight booked (fully refundable) with an other airline. I cancelled that and chose to fly with etihad as they have not extended their refund waiver past May 15th. I hope the whole situations stays stable and I can fly back as smoothly as I flew out.

I hope this helps anyone who is unsure about flying with etihad.
