Will be living in Denmark this autumn semester, any recommendations?
Hi, I'm a physics student currently attending Universidad Nacional de Colombia. A friend and I both got accepted for an exchange semester in Copenhagen University and we're a bit confused regarding what would be the best option for housing.
The University's official website states finding housing through the foundation is the best option, since otherwise it can be very expensive. However, I've seen many people complain about the housing foundation and share their bad experiences with it.
Is it really that bad? Which options should be avoid?Which options do you recommend?
We would like to live together to reduce costs, preferably something like a shared apartment (for just the two of us) with separate rooms. Do we have any chance of finding something like that with a rent that isn't too high? Is it better to look through the foundation? Is it too risky to try finding housing when we arrive?
Also, how hard is it to find a job as a foreigner in Denmark? Got any recommendations?
