Best Place for Issues / Questions / Feature Requests

Former TripIt pro user here. I’ve used it for 15+ years.

I've been playing with Tineo and am pretty excited about the possibility of making the switch.

i think i have 3 categories of things:

  • some small bugs / issues (maybe)
  • some questions or things that i'm having trouble with
  • and finally some product / feature suggestions

i did fill out some info in the get help / provide feedback within the app - but haven't heard back yet.

what is Tineo's preferred place / method for providing some of that info.

happy to do it here, if that's the best place for you guys - but wanted to confirm first.

thanks.

My Tripsy Book / Mis-Categorized Expenses

first of all - is this the best / preferred place to bring up items like this? or would you guys prefer via email?

and I'll apologize in advance - I'm a bit ocd :)

I'm taking the time to copy all of my old tripit trips into Tripsy. Unfortunately, I didn't have the api activated before tripit shut it down.

my tripsy book is pretty awesome! I'm very happy looking at all of my past travels!

if I look at the expenses - here's what I see:

the flights / stays / car rental items all look correct.

I was confused by the routes - and did some digging and found out that that number is made up of my car service / limo rides, as well as cruises.

however if I look at a specific trip that includes a cruise - that is specifically called out:

am I doing something wrong? is there a way to have the my tripsy book properly categorize cruises?

thanks!

Flight Delay Info?

Another long-time tripit user - who is pretty happy with what i see with Tripsy so far.

I have a tripit widget running - and the Tripsy one:

https://preview.redd.it/zyblzw3at5qh1.png?width=689&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ff7c5745c8e3b702b2339559b7967a1ba21eb2c

you can see that Tripit is showing a delay - and tripsy is not.

i also went into the app itself - and also don't see the delay:

am i doing something wrong? shouldn't tripsy be indicating that there is a delay on that flight?

thanks in advance - and i'll likely have lots more questions :)

Help to Get Better Ad Blocking

Still loving my Firewalla!

I feel very protected. I also have configured my devices (iPhone and iPad) with Amnezia WG clients - and they auto-activate when I leave the house.

I’m noticing that I’m seeing a decent amount of ads. I also am aware that I may be getting used to seeing less ads, and as I get used to seeing less - I may be more aware of the ones I’m seeing.

I have the following features / config enabled on my Firewalla:

Firewalla Settings:
Ad Block = strict
OISD Loaded
DNS over HTTPS (Cloudflare + Cloud9)

I looked up a few websites that would allow me to do a browser test (in my case iPadOS / safari). I do also have private relay active.

Here are the results:
Adblocktester (https://adblocktesters.com) = 67%
Adblocktester (https://adblocktester.pages.dev) = 81%

I can certainly post more details for the above - but there’s a lot of info so I didn’t want to post that all here in the case it wouldn’t be helpful.

Any suggestions for how I can help increase Firewalla’s ability to block / reduce ads?

Thanks in advance!

FS Astir Palace - Arion vs Nafsika for Sea View

I'm looking at staying at this property in mid April of 2027.

My wife's most important item when choosing a room is an amazing sea view.

I did some reading and read that one side of the resort is more lively and the other is much more quiet. we're quiet type folks - but the noise / activity in a normal hotel certainly isn't an issue. so I'm not sure that one side would be better than the other for us.

I'm waiting to book b/c some of the room rates during the time I'm looking to stay are still pretty high - higher than say the week before or after.

any advice as to which sea view room might be best for us?

thanks in advance!
