Help with sick jade plant?
So, about four months ago I bought two small jade plants. They've grown quite a bit, and they stay in identical conditions, but one looks okay and the other one always looks sickly.
First two pics, the plant was sold as a Red Akai. I've since seen that that's not a recognized cultivar, so can anyone tell what type of jade plant that actually is? Second two pics are of the sick-looking plant, which was sold to me as a Hummel's Sunset. I know that plant is supposed to turn yellow, but it's not supposed to have this sickly yellow look, is it?
Additional information...
They both stay in full sun pretty much all day long.
They both have had mealybugs on them, though I've been keeping a close eye and have never seen more than two or three at a time. The sickly looking plant has also had some kind of small caterpillar looking thing on it which seems to secret some sort of sticky substance. I think that's what chewed up the leaf in pic 4, but I've never seen more than two of them at a time and I don't think that's the major problem going on here.
Both plants live in a pretty humid environment, but they stay out of the rain and I only water when the leaves get limp.
Both plants are potted in a mix of perlite and Miracle-Gro Cactus Palm and Citrus soil.
Any ideas what's going on here, and why one plant looks so much worse than the other even though they are in identical conditions?
