Nerdy Lore Question for Razorback

Okay, so I looked into the game lore (I don’t actually play) and it seems Primaris aren’t compatible with Rhino chassis vehicles, yet that’s what we’re getting with this and the Predator. I thought okay maybe they’re for Horus Heresy, but according to a post here those didn’t exist till 5,000 years or so after HH.

My question is who is this for? I don’t mind so long as the figures fit, but it just seems like going with a Primaris vehicle would have made more sense. I know Joy Toy works in mysterious ways, but if anyone here knows their stuff let me know.

Possibly Returning…

So after having a love/hate with Joy Toy and 1/18 in general I thought I was done, but I feel the call again. From what I gather JoyToy is getting better with engineering and more consistent, feel free to correct me if that’s untrue. I want to one or two squads of the “3.5” intercessors and one of the heavy intercessors, then go back for those old 2.0 terminator. Yes Ultramarines are my go to, I love them all but my wallet only goes so far, bully me later. 😂

Anyway I figured the two dreadnoughts, the two rhino chassis transports, and the secret level characters and 2.0 Marneus Calgar would be ideal for a fresh start. Then eventually find a reasonable number of Tyranids and maybe the newest Black Legion. Something lame I learned is that primaris can’t use the rhinos in game, so why even make them? This is the stuff that trips me up.

One last thing, I forgot to ask how good is this new engineering? I’ve watched a lot of reviews but can’t decide. I like how intercessors have the option to be assault intercessors, and stuff like the throwable grenades.
