What’s something you completely stopped caring about after turning 30 that used to take up way too much of your energy?

For me, it was the pressure of having to keep up with huge groups of friends, and the guilt I felt when I turned down plans for the weekend. When I was 20, I thought I had to be everywhere otherwise I’d miss out on something, or next time they’d forget about me and never invite me anywhere again. But after I turned 30, I reevaluated everything, and now I genuinely enjoy quiet evenings at home with my family and maintain close relationships with just three or four close friends.

What was the best piece of advice you received, and did you learn to swim after that?

I'm over 20 years old, and I have to admit that I don't know how to swim, but I really want to learn. I have a slight fear of deep water, and that's probably the main reason.
