Best way to review material without getting bored?

What review methods actually keep you engaged while studying? Flashcards used to work for me, but lately they've started feeling repetitive and my brain just checks after a while. I still need a good way to review consistently without turning studying into autopilot. I've tried rereading notes too but that gets boring fast as well.

what smell or sound instantly takes you back to childhood?

For me it's a mix of random things like the smell of rain on hot pavement or certain cleaning products that were used at home when I was younger. Even sounds like old tv channel static or specific morning cartoons instantly bring me back to being a kid. Weird how something so small can completely shift your mood and memories in a second. Makes me realize how specific and random nostalgia can be. What smell or sound does that for you?

Best way to clean yellow pillows??

I washed the pillows recently and realized there are actual pillows underneath are looking rough. They've gotten that yellow tint over time and now I can't un see it. I think it's probably from sweat/oils and normal usage but they still look kind of nasty even if they don't smell bad. I think I've read somewhere that people use baking soda, vinegar, bleach alternatives, hot washes etc.. but I'm not sure what actually works without ruining the pillow or should I get a new ones? lol

Squirrels are destroying my garden again this year

This is happening again and I'm honestly at my limit. Every time I think things are finally growing nicely, I wake up and something has been dug up, knocked over or half eaten. I've tried a few basic things like barriers and repellents but they either stop working after a while or the squirrels just don't care. It's frustrating because it feels like I'm constantly fixing damage instead of actually enjoying the garden.

I know double cleansing helps especially with sunscreen and makeup but lately I've been struggling to stay consistent with it every night. I'm really tired the past few weeks that my regimen is getting too much for me. So these nights I'm just tired the extra step makes my routine feel way longer than it needs to be. I still want my skin to feel clean without turning skincare into a whole production before bed. Part of me wants to simplify things, but I also don't want clogged pores or irritation from not cleansing properly.

I'm with partnership but I play a vital role in the business so it still feels like things depend on me being "on" or available. Even thinking about taking proper time off makes me bit anxious like something might slow down or slip through the cracks. It's not that I don't trust the team but it's more than I know how much I handle day to day. So even when I try to step back I still feel the need to check in.

i'm trying to find actual good cheap eats in Tokyo that locals go to, not the usual places that pop up everywhere online. Mostly looking for ramen and izakaya spots that are affordable but still really good. I don't mind small or lowkey places.. honestly I prefer that over anything too hyped. I'm trying to build a sold food list without wastin meals on overrated spots. So, if you know go-to places or hidden gems please drop them.

It's like a daily inconvenience you only realize after actually living in the space. It's how certain things were placed that seemed fine during viewing but now make small everyday tasks slightly annoying. Nothing major, just those little design or layout choices that you don't think about at first. Over time thought, you start noticing them more and more. For me some of the electrical outlets placing.

It's weird how at night everything feels clear and i suddenly want to fix my routine, be more productive, and change a bunch of things in my life. I'll feel super motivated and even start planning stuff in my head. Then I wake up the next day and that energy is just gone or it feels way less intense. It's like my brain has two different moods depending on the time of the day.

I'll get dresses, look in the mirror then immediately feel like something's off. Then I end up changing one piece, then another, until I've basically tried on half my closet. It's not even the outfits are bad, they just don't feel right in the moment. Then randomly one combo just clicks and suddenly I'm fine with it. It's like a whole mini process every time I go out.
