[IIL] Ode to the Mets by The Strokes and Weird Fishes/Arpeggi by Radiohead, [WEWIL] for that lying-in-bed-staring-at-the-ceiling vibe, present but not really there

Looking to expand a collection of songs for a very specific moment. You know the one: lying on the bed, eyes on the ceiling, body in the room but mind somewhere else entirely. That suspended feeling where the real world fades and something more imaginary takes over.

Other tracks that hit that exact mark for me:

  • Where Is My Mind by Pixies
  • Comfortably Numb and Breathe (In the Air) by Pink Floyd
  • Exit Music (For a Film) and Everything in Its Right Place by Radiohead
  • Feed Your Head by Paul Kalkbrenner
  • What Once Was by Her's

Not looking for any specific genre. The list above already jumps from indie rock to electronic to prog rock. Ambient, classical, post-rock, slow jazz, anything works as long as it has that floating-away quality.
