I love seeing this show get its flowers on social media but man does it bother me when people say the name blatantly wrong when they discuss it. Particularly, people saying Lagann as "luh-GAHN," specifically shortening the first syllable. I watch the English dub and have occasionally listened to the Japanese dub too and no one pronounced it this way. Everyone says "LAH-GAHN" in the show, extending both syllables, so why are people getting it wrong? Did they even watch the same show or did they get a really bad fan dub?

I just wanted to vent about this and wish I could correct everyone on the pronunciation.
