Someone put this on a Powerscaling sub and I just want to know if it’s from the actual manga… cause if it is… the anti spirals are on a whole OTHER LEVEL OF EVIL

Well look at that! It's July!

After over an entire year, I felt it would be fun to bring back our sub's most popular event! That's right, its your chance to play Sub BINGO all month long, and you can win plenty of prizes! Plus, I will be giving away the usual grand prize! Keep reading to find out how you can get your tickets in for this month's raffle!

All you have to do to participate is use the sub like you normally would! Below, you will find a list of things to spot around the sub, which you can use to fill out your personalized card! Just a quick disclaimer. There are a couple of items on the list that are intended to be a light-hearted jab at common occurances on the sub. Don't take them personally and don't harass anyone. Rule 1 is sacred. ;) I trust you, Team Gurren!

With all of that said, let's dig in to the event!

★ Game!: SUB BINGO!

★ Grand Prize: Ichibankuji Nia Figure, new in the box!

★ Rules and Requirements:

1. If you want to participate, comment on this post. I will craft your very own BINGO card to use, your username will be written on it.

2. Over the month, if you see one of the list items being fulfilled on the sub, collect the post/comment as proof! I will be validating each mark.

3. Mark the corresponding section on your card as complete in whatever way you like!

4. If you have a BINGO vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, you WIN!

5. Everyone gets ONE ticket for the grand prize raffle. You opt in simply by participating.

6. ONLY NEW POSTS COUNT. Anything that comes before this post chronologically does NOT count.

7. You may NOT count a section as complete from your own post/comment. It must belong to someone else to complete your card!

Day 1 of slandering rossiu til’ i get “#1 rossiu slanderer” title

Yesterday I was having a very realistic nightmare, one in which I myself had no idea I was dreaming. Somehow I relize that I am in a nightmare, as a result I do everything in my (subconscious) power to escape (aka just wake up). As I'm doing random things that (I believe) will wake me up. (All of this is in the dream) I smack myself, I try to control the dream, I even splash myself with water, but none of that works. At this point I have lost hope, I don't think that I'm going to wake up, and I even start to think that my nightmare is reality. Right as when I'm about to loose all hope in Kamina's voice I hear "IT'S NOT OVER TILL I WIN" and after I hear that I fully realize I am in a dream, and I successfully wake up. I was so confused by the situation that I still thought I was in a dream. I went to my bathroom splashed water ok my face, and realized I was dreaming, but I'm now I'm awake.

TLDR: I was having a nightmare, I was trying my best to wake up, I then heard Kamina's voice basically telling me to not give up, and then I woke up

Chat was I in the multi dimensional labyrinth

I mean I like the show overall but I just felt they went a bit too far with so many characters dying. Pretty much everyone has someone who has lost their loved ones. Black sister lost their brother, Yoko lives alone since she already lost Kamina and so on. I mean the only one that gets a happy ending probably might be Rousseau and even he suffers from depression. And the person who got the worst deal from the entire show was none other then the main character Simon . I believed he was the most deserving person for a happy ending but ends up having the worst situation out of them all.

First his parents die when he is a kid, then his brother Kamina whom he looks up to dies early in the show and now his wife vanishes literally in front of him.

I think Nia's death was something that should not have happened. I think the show overdid a lot of sad stuff . It was done beautifully but still.

Also was Nia a real human being at all or Was Simon in Love with a Artificial Intelligence computer program ?(which makes it even more depressing considering the woman he loved was not even real)

I really wished Simon got a Happy ending after so many sacrifices and I thought they were gonna go for it with Nia but then they just pulled this stunt. I understand its a coming of age story but Its just too much I cannot get over it. I generally do not like romance anime but man this was something I was rooting for. They were probably the most wholesome couples I had seen in any show live action or anime.

Also with Nia being some kind of antispiral does not make sense since she was a biological woman born to spiral king and even if she was her vanishing does not make sense since she still was a hybrid technically at least canonically. Seriously this is a ending I never understood can someone please explain it to me?

Does anyone own this gurren lagann figure? All i've been thinking about is this figure but its like 300$😭 can someone who owns this convince me to buy it 🙏
