D&D date night on holiday?

Dear fellow nerds,

I'm going on a holiday with my partner this summer. We're both D&D lovers, but only have experience as players (my experience is a little more in comparison to his).

I'd love to surprise him at our holiday with a D&D date night, but since I don't have any DM experience I'm wondering if it's too much to ask of myself...

Do you guys know if there's a one-shot that's do-able for a new DM?

Or should I just find something else to surprise him with?

Thanks in advance for any answers!

P.S. English isn't my native language so excuses for any mistakes!

Books –> Movies recommendations 🖤

Hello fellow horror–readers,

I’m looking for some recommendations.
Last year I’ve discovered some horror books which I recognizes because of movies. And. . . I was HOOKED. The books I’m talking about, specifically:
• Pet Semetary | Stephen King
• The Descent: The Official Movie Novelization
• The Ruins | Scott Smith

I’ve watched a lot of horror movies, but started reading horror books last year.

Does anybody have epic horror books recommendations, from which I could recognize the story from a movie?

Thanks in advance! 🖤

Note: English isn’t my first language, so excuse in advance for any errors!
