hi ! I am a student in medical school in EU, applying to transfer to Venice. If I do get accepted, I will have almost no time to move in and adjust to life since my classes would start immediately. I do not know anybody in Italy, so I was thinking to ask the Internet.

What I want to know is what is life like for locals? The good and the bad. How expensive is rent ? And how hard is it to find rent - also where to find? I just worry to not get cheated because I am not Italian. I want to live alone, not sharing by the way, so I am not opting for that option. What are people like there? In general any information about anything would help me a lot :) Especially regarding rent. As I do not know anything, and don’t know anyone there. Also, the hospital I would work/study in is in Castello area, so inland is where I would live. Please be kind. Thank you !!

hi! I’m looking for friends, I’m studying in medical school, which is wonderful, but I’m also really lonely. I speak 3 languages and learning others too. This is my slightly silly, slightly shy little attempt at an introduction 🐛

I adore reading, truly, all kinds of genres ! But oh how I love poetry. Especially those about nature, love (I am hopelessly romantic, I must admit), soul… I adore fairytales too. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite love story. I often visit this little second-hand bookstore, with books decades old, and so so rare! I dream of having someone to read my favorite poetry to. I’m always always reading something 🌱

I’m crazy about watching movies !!!!! I have Letterboxd, of course, because how could I not? That and Goodreads are basically the only social media I use.

And shows too ! I have watched so so many! Some of my favorites => Supernatural, Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy, Prison Break, etc.

I cherish artistic things! I play the piano. Self-taught, so yes, there are many mistakes. I draw too, though I am not so good at it. Art history, architecture, calligraphy…

And music! Oh, I listen to so many artists and that I wouldn’t even know where to begin! Much of it is quite old. I listen to music through my PSP and my CD player (I burn all my music). Oh, cassettes too!

I am very interested in astrophysics, botany, animals… so many things to learn about the universe, but not enough time. How I long to meet someone to teach me things they are knowledgeable in 🌷🌷🌷

I love flowers dearly. I always collect them and gently press them between the pages of my books. And animals too. I feel so soft-hearted when it comes to them. I wish I could live in nature with all its fauna that I would befriend and take care of <3

I am a gearhead in cars, motorsports, and I have always wanted to learn basic car mechanics, but have absolutely no idea where or how to start! I find classic motorcycles like Harleys so so cool !! Though, I am not cool enough to ride one. 🪲

I love fashion, I must be wearing a different outfit everyday! I wear bright colors, especially pink (my favorite), yellow, purple. I must always be wearing something in my hair, bow, ribbon, headband…

I play cards too :) my favorite is Gin Rummy. And pool (online - I am too shy to play in real life).

And I absolutely adore Westerns! My cowboy boots are very special to me. I dream of having my own little cottage with my pretty animals and unusual flowers.
