I know the sub isn't for this kind of thing but I wanted to put this out there anyway.

I've been having such a terrible time in life lately. Today, I was out and about in Corner Brook just going for a walk on West Street, lost in my own thoughts. You were walking towards me and I thought "Oh, what a lovely lady. Oh well..."

But your lovely singsong "Hhhhiiiiiii!" was so nice to me and so surprising, I could only manage an awkward "Hi" back. After walking a few more steps and regaining my composure, I turned around and you were gone. I wish I had said something clever or at least returned your enthusiasm.

In any case, I'm not expecting anything from this - but I just want to say, keep being nice to people. Sometimes a small kind and friendly "Hello" can make someone's day. Thank you for giving me one bright day in an otherwise very dark time.
