I am hosting an event in a few months and I am on the prowl for speakers. My process is to try to connect with a prospective speaker on LinkedIn, and if he or she accepts the request, start sending LinkedIn messages or emails (if I can see their email address in LinkedIn) to get them to respond. It is time-intensive and laborious. I am using AI to scrape their LinkedIn accounts and the Internet to help craft personalized messages to save time. Does anyone have any other suggestions for how to identify and connect with potential speakers? I did a call for speakers, but that didn't really get anyone outside of my network.
