Need All of You Guys Analysis, Opinion, and Perspective.

Evening everyone.

This will be my first contribution to the community. As a starter, I'm a Star Blazers/Space Battleship Yamato fan and follower, yet I only followed the 2199 (reboot) series and haven't had the time to follow the entire original series (OS).

If I'm allowed to share my concern (which is a little bit private part of my life), I'm traumatized since childhood extensively by mature people's infidelity. Now what does that have to do with the 2199 reboot series?

The currently ongoing SBY "Be Forever Yamato: Rebel3199" series was based and integrated aspects from both the OS "Be Forever Yamato" and "Yamato III". I've skim watched Be Forever Yamato, and I believe at this point everyone knew what I'm trying to point out. Yes, "that part" where Japanese people called it "NTR part", or in this case Yuki's conflicted feelings. I sensed that Yuki's conflicted feelings in between choosing Kodai or Alphon wasn't as conflicted as the one in Rebel3199. From my perspective, I sensed Yuki's growing feelings for Alphon and her conflict in between choosing either Kodai and Alphon as the chapter progressed. Furthermore, in my view, Yuki's conflicted feelings are heavier in Rebel3199 than the original.

Perhaps everyone had saw the new visual art for Chapter 6. As I look into further, I noticed a trivial, yet to me it was a very "clear" detail, as shown in the photos. Yuki didn't wear the ring. The very exact ring that she wore this whole time. The one that Kodai gave her as a proof of commitment to have a life together. Perhaps I was too overanalyzing because of this. But please understand that because of the childhood trauma I had, this gave me a greater sense of uneasiness on what to expect in Chapter 6.

To ensure that I wasn't all that bias because of this, I would like hear about everyone's opinion, analysis, and perspective on this. If possible, I'd like us to have a mature perspective and conversation on this aspect.

Gimme your thoughts, everyone.
