2019 Laredo E 4x4 - must do modifications?
I’m getting a new to me GC Laredo E 4x4 this weekend. It only has 28,000 miles so I’m pretty stoked. I’m planning to use this as a daily driver and also off-road in Arizona and California and want to make it more suitable without spending a ton of money. It’ll be moderate off-road and I might try some more challenging stuff but I’m not trying to go rock crawling or do things much better left to a Wrangler. This vehicle is Quada trac I.
What are must do mods and equipment to increase longevity and / or durability? I’ll do these right away-ish. Without spending a ton. Obviously keeping on top of maintenance is #1, but outside of that. This is my current list.
Install device to eliminate default engine start/stop to reduce component wear
Remove front air dam to improve approach angle
Transfer case and diff fluid change
Extend diff/transfer breather lines
Replace current tires + spare with Falken all terrain tires
Fuel tank + transfer case skid plates
Ez tire deflator and compressor
Recovery gear, traction boards etc.
Anything else I’m missing that’s cheap or easy?
