Ebay parts only turbo grafx 16 revived with Turbonaza mod

I still plan to replace all the capacitors on this system but I was able to revive it without doing that first. It was outputting a really awful signal over rf and the controller port needed to be cleaned but now we are outputting via s-video thanks to the turbonaza mod that replaces the rf modulator. It looks and sounds great! Very comparable to my rgb modded pc engine duo. Highly recommend this mod if you have experience and confidence with using a soldering iron. My install isn't perfect but after playing for a while tonight I can say it was a huge success. I love that this mod can be installed without cutting or damaging the shell and that it's also reversible, but who would want to go back to rf? This mod uses sega saturn style cables and it supports composite and component as well. Link to the github:

It seems I was unlucky

Got this set from a coworker who said it worked well for $100 as my old set had terrible gamma problems and everything was too dark to play games on. Unfortunately this new set has a ton of issues. Warping in the top corners, convergence issues, and the picture is very crooked. There are also some vertical lines that sometimes can be seen in person but not in pictures. In my living room most of the discoloration was in the top right hand corner. Moved it to my bedroom and now it's in the top left and also in the center right. I think the yoke is off due to the picture being crooked and the other issues but I have no experience working on tvs. I work and repair electronics in my free time but this would be my first foray in this sort of work if I decide to open it. Any advice?

I did have to put it on a furniture dolly as I live several floors up and had to move it in by myself. May have been jostled pushing it on uneven floors but I tried to be careful. I'm not certain what the picture looked like before sadly as I trusted my coworkers word. I tried adjusting the horizontal issues via the service menu but it is too severe to be fixed that way.

Edit: model number is KV-27V26
