Anyone want my *WRECKED* 2001 e38 740il w/ 80k miles in Biarritz Blue

Remember me from this post from a month back where I wanted to see if anyone wanted to pay BAT prices directly for my 740il? Spoiler - no one did

Well two weeks ago someone's gam gam decided to exit a shopping plaza and tboned my baby. Everyone was ok but I knew right away she would be totaled.

Geico offered me $3900 initially but I fought them and had nearby listings and the videos from a month back. They upped the offer but I still won't be whole. Repair estimate is $14k+ and retainment price $1608. One of the body shop guy is coming up with an offer but I thought I would see if any other enthusiasts wanted to take a stab at fixing her. I am likely moving on to something else as similar spec e38 would cost high teens.

She is in West Warwick RI, has an additional set of wheels (pictured) with old tires, and the bluebus bluetooth adaptor. Odometer 80k+.

Be sure to have an agreed upon value or stated value policy. Progressive was no help during this process and actually made things worse.

Just thought I would put it out there before she rolls over to 80k miles. I am guessing no one will want it bad enough to make me part with it but you never know. She is boreline too nice for me and I would likely replace her with an OBS f350 4x4 manual crew cab to have fun in the winter and haul toys.

She is in Rhode Island if anyone is tempted and the airport isn't far.

UPDATE -Someone cursed me out for not posting a price but here is the thing...I actually don't know what it is worth. I think we can agree it north of $10k right? I'm guessing this would not trade for $20k+ unless someone took it to the next level and that person isn't me. If you want this color combo in with relatively low miles then tell me what it is worth to you. I don't have a replacement lined up but you never know.

Update 2 - Got a guy who wrote me a small novel just to tell me he was offering $5k. Should have said yes and told him to meet me at the Blue Oyster Bar at 10pm to pickup the keys.

I have a pretty pristine e38 740il which has been serving me well since last fall. I ran an errand yesterday, came home and parked. Later I backed the car out of the garage and the STOP OIL PRESSURE warning come on so I stopped immediately. Turned the car off but I can still hear a electric pump on the left side of the motor running.

Disconnected the battery, checked fuses, tapped a bunch of relays JIC but as soon as I reconnect the battery (even a day later) the pump comes on and the car doesn't even attempt to crank despite checking the battery (less than a yr old) on the multimeter. Oil level is good and plenty of oil in the filter canister.

My guess is maybe the famous oil pump screw issues or a sensor but why no attempt to crank and is there anything else I should check for a quick fix?
