First match I went 2 goals up in first half only to lose 3-2 to some of the most bs you'll ever see in a video game lmao

And a few other goals I've been sitting on for a while

I still lost though 🤣🤣 but I enjoyed that.

Enjoyed the Breel Embolo header also. Definitely enjoying these international cup daily matches.

Loved that block but it shows how stupid and random switching is. Switches to the player off screen rather than those close to the ball and before I know there's a gaping hole in defence for AI to exploit.

Usually don't play Legend but the initial match was against legend and didn't realise till afterwards so I just thought, "fuck it I'll do em all in legend then".

I had to drop the Japan v Netherlands match down to superstar after losing TEN TIMES IN A ROW. maddening situation after maddening situation. Don't think I even scored once.

Showing how stat dependent this game is now. I'll blow them out (think I had a 7-0 once) if there's a ~500 plus point difference but with Netherlands it was more evenly matched. Whereas prior to - I think - 4.0, I used to play legend a lot in normal exhibition matches using standard teams and randomising selection; and used to win way more than I'd lose to them.

Got him at the end with some patience. Perks of playing without a visible clock ig. Thought never get past Schmeichel. Quadruple save is insane especially the last one.

I'm not really mad at this patch. Winning way more than usual lol but I do feel more "control" I guess might be the word. Even against the AI I'm currently 6-0 Vs superstar.

I can't quite place what they've changed. I do hate the pace though. It's too damn fast making movement and dribbling so twitchy but dribbling is good. Timing of skill moves is more essential.

It's nice being able to take on p2w teams more easily. Meaning they will nerf this in about 2 weeks.

Downloaded the PS4 app and Played a few days before the update and deleted it before the game ended in frustration but I've had a few good games over the last couple of days.

Passing does seem better. Didn't have as much frustration with it although the game has seemed oddly responsive for me anyway. I actually had to check my settings at some point to make sure I was actually on pa4 lol.

What do others think about the new patch? I haven't had many games. Only about 4; mostly against div 2 and 3 players and the highest squads I played have been about 3150 rating (My Italian events team is 3030) so I haven't faced many meta or p2w teams/players.

Small sample size but I've won all my games including 1 match in the NT events using Colombia Vs Ghana.

I know I reinstall by tomorrow night but what is this level of fuckery! Losing to a goal like this. It was my 45th game so got the selection contract I wanted but couldn't even be arsed to use it anymore. Deleted!

Thing is I want to give Konami money for this game but they keep refusing to allow me do so. I can NEVER put money into something in not enjoying. I just don't understand why the AI has to blatantly cheat to win.

Addiction is real, fomo is real. The other day I saw eafc free on ps plus and the thought of installing it just left me cold. I don't want to play the ice hockey SIM pretending to be a football game.

Why can't we have a normal game mode with normal teams. I fucking hate dream team..I hated my club and never played it. I fucking hate how Konami has forced me into this shit experience with it's shit AI and it's shit fanbase. Mental health annihilationsimulator.

Only chances the AI had all game. Literally had 0 shots in the first half. You struggle and strive to score and then bs AI decides it's time to score and gets 2 rebounds.

Playing ai events Vs superstar (I refuse to torture myself with legend AI). I blame myself for not just whacking in the best team I can muster and overpowering them stats wise (team is about 2900 rating) but i tend to try and milk as many games as possible Vs AI in events just cos the game tends to be more enjoyable without lag.

I don't know how wise it's coding annai which makes users actually disengage from your game. Cos I switched off after this. This is bs
