Late Night 90s TV

When I was in high school in the mid-90s, if I was home on weekend nights I would stay up until like 3 am playing my SNES, reading, listening to music, and watching TV. My go to networks were always USA Up All Night or FX, because when that network was new, they used to have live programming. On the weekend nights these would be on between movies and whatever was airing. In these segments they had musicians, D list celebrities, and other people in an apartment set playing party games and doing other mindless things. I distinctly remember one night Sherman Hensley from the Jeffersons was on and did this really sad dance at the end of the programming block to Del Amitri's "Roll to Me". It must have been around 1995. I've looked at both Hemsley's IMDB and searched around for Del Amitri performances and haven't been able to find anything. Honestly, the whole thing feels like a fever dream.

[partially lost] Live Programing on FX in the 1990s

So I'm guessing this is probably lost, but I figured I'd see if anyone else remembers this broadcast or if anyone has had any luck finding similar programs. Back in the mid90s when the FX network was new, they used to have live segments. I seem to remember, especially on the weekend nights, these would be on between movies and whatever was on. In these segments they had musicians, D list celebrities, and other people in an apartment set playing party games and other mindless things. I remember one night Sherman Hensley from the Jeffersons was on and did this really sad dance at the end to Del Amitri's "Roll to Me". It must have been around 1995.
