Hi all! I’m a new grad who was just offered my first position at a Peds hospital and i’m a little apprehensive about accepting.

Pros:
\- good pay 43.90 as a new grad
\- 7500 sign on bonus
\- full time days: 3 12’s (dream shift for me)
\- staff seems friendly and helpful
\- at least 90 days of training

cons:
\- i’ve never scanned peds
\- i don’t want to lose all of my general skills
\- just under 1 hour drive from me
\- sign 2 year contract

So please give me all yours peds knowledge! I’m super nervous, I hear it can be really difficult between anxious parents and combative kids. This has been my only offer and I feel like as a new grad it’s pretty solid.

Hi all! i take my exam board july 14. What are major topics to focus on? Feeling so overwhelmed and nervous, can’t find much motivation to study. Struggling w lab tests and values, are there lots of those questions? Any info will help!

Hi all, I’m taking my first board early july. If i am getting 60’s on the URR practice exams will I pass? Super nervous

So just had my interview and not feeling very confident. They had me locate cbd, liver length, ica v eca, left portal vein, all the calf veins, and dpa. I wasn’t able to find the cbd, i found something and said it might be it. I was able to locate everything else tho. Do we think the cbd is a deal breaker? I’m a new grad and this position would have me alone one shift every other week.

I have my very first scan interview thursday and I’m quite nervous. What are common questions they might ask? What might they have my scan (general sonographer)? I’m imagining RUQ, and locating CBD? Thoughts and tips please!
