Dreaded early morning flight

First, I’ve had an INCREDIBLE first visit here over the past week. Gracias Malaga for your beauty, vibrancy and hospitality!

Now my flight home leaves tomorrow at 06:00 😣😩😩😩. I’m assuming taxi is the only option that early (I’m staying a little north of Centro in las Flores

How early do you recommend arriving before the flight? Should I give myself 2 full hours? Is 1 hour enough?

Also, if anyone has specific taxi/transport recommendations please let me know. Thanks!

Souvenir ideas

Hey everyone l, as a relatively clueless dude I thought I’d ask for people’s thoughts on which souvenirs you feel are the best representation of Malaga.

Are there any souvenirs or gifts that you feel Malaga does particularly well? All the usual stalls are there: ceramics, jewellery, hats and apparel, incense, etc. what do you personally think is a nice little piece of Malaga to take home with you?

If you think it’s all the same basic junk, you’re also welcome to share that opinion. 😅

Hey all,

I'm traveling home to North America this summer using normal Urlaub leave, but I'm interested in trying to extend my trip by a week using Bildungsurlaub time. I'm generally familar with how Bildungsurlaub works already and have researched the specific requirements for my Bundesland. As far as I can see, I basically have three options:

  1. Find a course that I can do online/remotely during that time. Online pickings are already slim, and basically drop to zero if I try to find one within a suitable timezone, so this option seems unlikely. But I've messaged one Spanish course provider that could possibly work.

  2. Take an English course in a city close to where I'll be - this option seems likely and I have a friend who lives in that city, but I'm already a native-English speaker, so I'm wondering if that would even be allowed, or if my employer could deny it, or I could get in trouble with the Bundesland.

  3. Find a suitable course/provider and try to register them with the Bundesland. I can see for my bundesland that this is technically possible, but given the relatively short lead-up time, my limited German skills and my lack of experience navigating German bureaucracy, I'm assuming this is a long-shot, unless someone has experience to suggest otherwise.

I tried searching this sub to find similar discussions and info, but didn't have much luck. So please feel free to link to previous discussions of this sort if you're aware of them.
