Installed NIU without my consultation, then said they won't move it
I set up an appointment on June 15 to install GFiber on the 26th, after I closed on my new house on the 25th.
Little did I know they would send an installer out to set up the NIU on the 17th, a full week before I actually owned the house. So ridiculous--our realtor says this happens all the time and gets people into all sorts of hot water.
Then my installer came today and said the NIU was put on the opposite side of the house from where we'd want it, since I wasn't here to consult when they put it in. After a 30 minute call with customer service, they told me there was "no reason" to move the NIU and refused to do it.
Have half a mind to cancel just on principle. What a cockamamie process--has this happened to anybody else? Any feedback on what makes a good "reason" to move the NIU?
