Indian PCC for Foreign Nationals
Hi,
Last week, I have applied for the Indian PCC from Canada through BLS international in Ottawa.
I have studied my UG as a foreign national in India for 4 years during 2016-2020. On 2021, I went back to India for a month just to get the PCC and got it for the duration of 2016-2020, which is obviously expired now.
I’m seeing couple of reviews and posts where people are waiting several months (~ 7+ Months) for this and I can say for sure this is worrying, stressful! I just’ve created my EE profile and applied PCC in advance so that before ITA I can have a valid PCC otherwise I’ve to go through the same process.
As of now, both my current and old passport are submitted along with the paperwork and HCI Ottawa will keep your PP with then until they issue you a new PCC.
My question to the community: “
1. Is there any foreign national who got their Indian PCC within 2 months window? or for every foreign national this is more than that?”
2. I saw a review of an email back & forth to HCI Ottawa, and they don’t respond. Why is this case?
3. Any contact/steps taken that helped to expedite the process? - I already informed my university references in advance that I applied and if police want verification & requested so that they can support
