Hi all! I found this insulator while beachcombing in Western Washington this morning. Attempted to ID it myself, but as you can see a good portion of the bottom is missing so I can't say for sure what it might have been embossed with beyond PETTICOAT. I had no idea these things even existed before today, so any help I could get with identification would be much appreciated! :)

about 8 inches long all together. we get a lot of deer in our yard but this doesn't seem like it could come out of a deer! if i had to guess i'd say it's probably an herbivore of some kind, but i'm no expert.
