New business in the UK looking for business number setup

Hi everyone,
My business partner and I are launching a new professional services firm in the UK. We want a single, dedicated business number (can be either a local landline or a mobile format) to give to our clients.
Our main requirements are:
1 Shared WhatsApp Business: We need the WhatsApp Business app running on both of our personal mobile phones simultaneously using this single number (via Companion Mode / Linked Devices).
2 Dual Call Forwarding: When a client calls the business number, it needs to ring or route to both of our personal mobiles (simultaneously or via a schedule) so whoever is available can pick up.
3 No extra SIMs: We want to avoid carrying a second physical phone or dealing with dual-SIM setups if possible.

Would be grateful if you could suggest a provider we could look at.

Thanks in advance!

Standard Visitor Visa application for Mum

Hi everyone,

My mum who lives in Turkey will apply for a standard visitor visa. She will be the sole applicant. She previously had two rejections last year based on her financial status. My wife and I live in the UK. She hasn’t seen us for 5 years.

Her only income is dad’s pension as she is a housewife. The house is owned by her.

Previously we didn’t disclose the pension.

In our next application, should we also disclose the dad’s bank statements as his pension is the sole financial income for mum? Also what additional evidence would you recommend us to include?

Hi everyone,

I have received a draft settlement agreement from my employer.

My question is regarding the holiday pay.

I normally have 21 annual leave days. The calendar for that runs from 1 jan to 31 dec.

According to the settlement agreement, they will pay 4.5 days of holiday pay which they say it is calculated pro rata.

I will ask this to my lawyer as well but before that i wanted to check if this is legally compliant or not.

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine, who had been residing in the UK as a Skilled Worker for the last three years, passed away, leaving two children behind. They are 7 and 11 years old. The children now need to apply for a visa renewal in June.

Since the sponsor has passed away, is there any way for the children to remain in the UK? Their grandfather back home will have custody. The ideal scenario would be for the grandfather to move to the UK and stay with the two children so they can continue their education.

Alternatively, the spouse of the deceased sponsor, who was also a dependant of the sponsor, may be willing to take custody of the children (although he is currently reluctant to do so).

Would it be possible for the spouse and the children to remain in the UK under these circumstances?

Thank you in advance for your input.
