Tips for English 30-1???

Hello,

I am like really really bad at english, and in 20 I was only able to get like a 72. Is there any advice anyone could provide for how to succeed in the course, and how to write great crts and prts?? I am really scared that I wont be able to improve my mark.

is it over for engineering (u of a / u of c)

Im in grade 11 and i did very very bad in english taking my average down to a 72

I HATE ENGLISH

My bio final and physics final were not the best, but were alright. My mark in those courses are now down to a 91 and 93 respectively. I also have a 90 in chemistry and 96 in math. (All 20 courses, I still need 30 courses + math 31 as pre-requisites)

But how should I line my schedule up next year? I can still make it right? How do I improve in english?

strike affecting admission average for engineering/other classes

hello,

I just want to start out by appreciating how helpful this subreddit has been to me, even when my posts may have been a little bit confusing.

As for today, I've come to ask whether the strike is a factor for the increased admission averages for engineering this year because of the cancelled diplomas.

What do you guys think? Could the averages go down next year? Or are there other factors?

play: tennessee williams - glass menagerie

can anybody help me describe the overall idea about the destruction of beauty, and also about illusion in this book?

I still cant grasp my head around one singular overarching idea for both of these topics

engineering avgs, can I get in?

U of C makes the competitive average pretty clear on the website, showing a 92 avg for without calculus and 97 with calculus, but on the U of A website it is not very clear.

For early admission in fall 2026 at U of A engineering, is it possible to get in with an 88.5% avg for early admission? If not, what grade would I need to get in later? If anyone was able to get in this year at U of A engineering, or has knowledge about this please let me know.

please answer:

  1. what average did you get

  2. did you get into late or early admission with that grade

  3. any other additional information you have

admission avgs

how do admission averages work for without math 31 and with math 31?
I am looking at engineering in particular, and it shows that the average for u of c is substantially higher without math 31.

I really dont know how this works, and sorry if I sound stupid

lets say I apply in grade 12 next year,

does this mean that if i apply with my grade 11 grades they take the higher average,

or would it be better to assume the lower competitive average if the university knows I am taking math 31 the following semester of grade 12
