Opinions - what would you do?
Here’s my situation - I’m mid-60’s, very small (130 lbs), live alone and have two small daughters. I’m downsizing everything including my gun collection. I have my old 11-87, which I will keep, an old Investarms .410 over under that I’ve used once and a Benelli Nova tactical I bought a couple years ago in 12 gauge, never been fired. I’m thinking of getting rid of the .410 and Nova and possibly buying the Mossberg .410 tactical, and here’s why: I’m not getting any younger, my girls will inherit my stuff when I’m gone and I think the Mossberg would be something they might actually keep and use. I’d enjoy firing it as well. Do I need it? Not really, more of a want than a need. I know there are ways to mitigate recoil in a 12 but I just don’t see me firing it when I’m a creaky arthritic 75 year old dude. Probably overthinking this and probably should just dump the two guns I’ve mentioned. Just looking for opinions - thank you!
