If you look at images 3 & 4 the device he's holding could be the "Ultimate Nullifier".

Then i went back to the trailer and noticed that Reed is holding this same device in his hand when saying "ANSWER ME VIKTOR, DID YOU DO THIS?!" around 1:11-1:12. It's a quick glimpse and not fully visible, but need a second opinion.

Wondering how this, if true, impacts the story of having a device this dangerous in the hands of Doom. Obviously, him holding the book as well is interesting here too. Wonder if that was scrubbed from the special look trailer at the beginning when he's shown sitting in his chair.

I was rewatching the new trailer from D23 and noticed that when Doom jumps out of the ship window and lands on the ground he only has 1 metal clasp near his left shoulder. Then the immediate next shot we see Thor come into the scene and when he leaps\lunges at Doom he is showing both. Curious as to this splice in the story or perhaps why when he initially lands he only has 1 then perhaps in a separate scene he fights Thor when he has 2 of the chest pieces?
