Sensory grounding exercise

I heard this on a podcast and thought it would be fun to talk about. When you need to feel grounded, think of three things you like from each sense category. I’ll start:

Sounds
- Cats purring
- Wind rustling through trees
- Thunder

Sights
- Fireflies
- Bright moonlight
- Old people smiling

Smells
- Petrichor
- Cat paws
- The first night of winter

Tastes
- Pecan pie
- Red Rome or Macintosh apples
- Stamp glue

Touches
- Horse noses
- Really soft smooth rocks
- Walking barefoot on warm pavement

Please share yours, I’d love to see them!

Suspects apprehended for being annoying

Sorry kids, but the wardens need to eat without anyone jumping on the table and stealing our food
